Chipmaker Qualcomm on Friday announced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile platforms for the next generation of premium and hightier Android smartphones focused on gaming and highspeed connectivity.
 With an improved Qualcomm Adreno GPU, Snapdragon 8+ claims to provide up to 10 per cent faster speeds and 30 per cent power reduction to deliver the ultimate gameplay experience.
 Users can expect up to 60 extra minutes of gameplay with Snapdragon 8+, that also features a Qualcomm Kryo CPU with up to 10 per cent faster processing and up to 30 per cent improvement in power efficiency.

How to share internet from Internet Dongle (Mblaze,TATA Photon,Idea 3G Netsetter..etc)

This post will describe sharing internet using Internet Dongles.You can use any Dongles.

To do this one system can be sonsidered as host or server and
this system will have working Dongle Connection(I am using MTS MBlaze).

Following are list of settings need to be done on server and client machine.

On Server / Host Computer

Step 1: Connect Internet Dongle in a USB port

Step 2: Go to Control Panel-> Network and sharing Center-> click on Internet Dongle(Eg: MTS Mblaze)
            -> click on properties->Sharing Tab->
    check "Allow other network users to connect......"
    and    " Establish a dial-up connection whenever a computer....." check boxes.
    Click on Settings button and select the sevices you want to share.

Step 3: Now click on Local Area Connection-> Properties->Select "Internet Protocol version (TCP/IPv4)-> click Properties.
           You will see an ' Use the following ip address is selected and IP address is generated as 192.168.137.1

Step 4: Go to Control Panel->  Network and sharing Center-> Internet Option-> Connection Tab->Select 'Never Dial a connection'.

           In LAN settings, tick on "Use automatic configuration script " check box and type 192.168.137.1
           also tick on "Use a proxy server for your LAN" check box and type 192.168.137.1 then Click OK.

On Client Machine

Step 1: Go to Control Panel-> Network and Internet->Network and Sharing Center-> Change adapter setting (on left side)

Step 2 : Now click on Local Area Connection-> Properties->Select "Internet Protocol version (TCP/IPv4)-> click Properties.
             select "use the following IP address" and type
    IP address :192.168.137. 2
    Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
    Default gateway:192.168.137.1.1
   
    For getting " DNS server settings" go to Step 3
   

Step 3: Just Go to your Server/Host PC

          Go to Control Panel-> Network and Internet->Network and Sharing Center-> Change adapter setting (on left side)

Step 4:     Right click on the Internet dongle-> click 'Status' ->then click 'Details'
    u can see IPv4 DNS servers

Type its as Preferred and Alternate DNS in client PC

How to Set Up WiFi Connection with iBall Baton 150M Extreme Wireless N Router on BSNL DSL Modem

1) Turn off your DSL modem. 

2) Remove components from the box which includes the router, power adapter and the Ethernet cable.

3) Connect the power adapter to the router.

4) Remove the Ethernet cable connecting the DSL modem to the PC. Connect the Ethernet cable from the DSL modem to the WAN port in the router.
 
5) Connect the other Ethernet cable from one of the 4 slots on the router to the LAN port on your PC. Make sure the phone line is also connected to the DSL modem in case it is removed.

6) Now turn on the router and the DSL modem.

7) Once the setup is done, go to one of the web browsers like chrome, internet explorer, Firefox etc.

8) Type in "192.168.1.1" on the URL bar and hit enter.

9) The username and password is "admin".

10) Go to "Quick configuration" on the left side of the screen.
Click next, then click wireless client router and hit next.
 
11) Select PPPoE and hit next.
 
12) Username would be landline phone number and password is the C.A.No.(customer account number) which can be found on your phone bill.
 
13) On the next page you have to fill SSID and BSID, do this by clicking on survey and connect with any of the channels present.
 
14) Select security(if you want a password) called WPA-PSK, put in your password and the last bar with SSID would be the name of your WiFi. Put any name.
 
15) Hit next and then it will ask to restart your router. Restart it and ideally your internet and WiFi should work.

1) Ultra Video Joiner vrsion 6.4 or 6.2 - www.aone-soft.com

2) Handbrake v 0.9.5 - http://handbrake.fr/

First add the vob files from DVD and join it using Ultra Video Joiner

the add this file to Handbrake.

Use Setting-
# Picture-anamorphic-custom- screen size 688 width & 288 height
# Video -Select Mpeg4 or H.246,   Quality-Target Size set as 700MB.
#  Audio Mixdown Select 6 Channel Discrete or Dolby Surround
    BitRate -112 or 128

Then destination: Save the file as with .mp (eg video.mp4)

Then you will get 700 MB video or just higher video file...

Therefore you can manually set the Avg Biterate to achieve this ratio.
Here is a more specific formula which guides you to calculate
video Bitrate/Quality settings when ripping
DVD and converting videos: Bitrate=outputwidth x outputheight x k x r

Note: Different video codec has diverse
K value (H.264 k=0.012345, MPEG-4 k=0.0135),
and R depends on the quality you desired (excellent r=1.0, good r=0.55, normal r=0.35).

If you want to preserve the image quality, set HandBrake Quality Setting > Constantly Quality > around RF20.
If you want to reserve some compression ratio, set HandBrake Quality Setting > Constantly Quality > around RF28.
You'd better keep RF below 32, otherwise the output quality will be terrible.

Change the APPID on the code with your APP ID provided from Facebook and save the template.

Step 3: Now you need to hide default blogger commenting system. So navigate to Settings > Comments and select hide and save settings

BSNL router Config | BSNL with Digisol (DG-BG4011N,DG-BG1000) router configuration

One of my friend purchased a Digisol  router to use with BSNL broadband. He was having a tough time configuring it so he asked me to help. I am hereby writing this post so that other can get help. You can use the following steps to configure your DIGISOL or any other router with your BSNL broadband all over the country

Steps to configure the router for BSNL broadband (settings): BSNL router Config

1. Connect the Digisol wireless router  to power outlet and to your existing BSNL line(coming through a ADSL splitter)  and turn on the power.
2. Connect your laptop with wireless connection. The name of the connection will be Digisol_ (By default).
3. Now open http://192.168.1.1 in your internet browser(you can use any internet browser). It will ask your to enter user name and password. You can get the user name and password from the back of the router.                                                                            By default : User name: admin Password: admin
4. Now go to Internet Settings from the left sidebar.
5. Choose the VPI as 0 and VCI as 35. You can connect your internet both through PPPoE or Bridge mode, but I suggest to use PPPoE so that all PC get almost same priority and share.
6. Choose UBR without PCR in the service category.Choose UBR without PCR in the service category.             

                                                                                                                      
     7. Now fill in your Login id and Password that you use to connect to your internet. Do not change the rest of the settings. Click on Apply button. That is all you need. Choose other settings like Keep Alive and Enable NAT. You are done now you will see a green internet light blinking on the router.
